Yesterday early-evening was special. 🎬✨ Word of Mouth had its BFI London premiere at @britishfilminstitute's @bfi_southbank #NFT1 - and I'm still pinching myself.

Honoured to have been cast as Presenter and Narrator of this documentary film from @antony_g_12323, taking audiences on a journey across borders and cultures to ask a question that keeps me up at night: could AI translation threaten humanity in ways we haven't even imagined yet?

Massive pride for the incredible crew behind this — especially @filmsbysomerset @finfilmyates #JasonElliot and the full team (credits below) who brought Antony's vision to life so beautifully. And I never thought I'd be part of a film that blends live-action with animation so seamlessly - #MariaGrech and #AnastasiaGrech, your work is genuinely jaw-dropping. 🙌

The most surreal moment? Sharing the stage at BFI Southbank with my own mum — who features in the film as an expert linguist. Some things you truly couldn't make up. (And there are many more that would make enough material for a part 2!!) ❤️
And a very special thank you to my old school tutor #TedSullivan in Northamptonshire for digging out a photo of me on a school exchange trip to Spain that actually made it into the film. 📸

Thanks to everyone who made this project so extraordinary and so personal and the fabulous composers and orchestra that brought the film to life!
